It’s tournament time, and hopefully if you’ve played my cash game lineups and have built up enough of a bank roll to get into the DFS lottery by playing in some GPPs. There are more funky lineups in most tournaments, as most entries have multiple high risk high reward players. The buy ins range from $1 to $300 for a typical player and that prize payouts are listed on the “prizes” link in the header once you click on the GPP you are interested in. I’ve nailed some monster GPP plays this season, but it’s still about timing. Who’s cheap and will go off you ask? It’s time to match those funky lineups, with some funk of your own.
QUARTERBACK – Tyrod, Fantasy God
I like most QBs this week in the lower tier of the pricing grid. Tyrod Taylor is a cool $7200 an should hit value this week. Buffalo has done anything they could to stay competitive and Tyrod has a lot to do with this. Take him on the road to Cincinnati, you won’t regret it.
RUNNING BACKS – Speaking Frank
Frank Gore at $6000 on FD, seems like the best low budget deal at the RB position this week. He’s at home against an average defense, if there ever was a week, this is it. I already mentioned in my cash game lineup that I love Bilal Powell as well.
Duke Johnson Jr. against the Jets would be a super sneaky. Does anyone know what happened to Isaiah Crowell.??
WIDE RECIVERS –Funchess in Bunches
For the 2nd straight week, I’m recommending Devin Funchess who went off last weekend. He’s a little higher than I would’ve expected at $6300 but a super high upside, I’m buying the narrative with Funchess being from Detroit and the matchup is good as well.
Randall Cobb is not cheap, but has the potential to go off if Davante Adams is out. He could be a target machine.
TIGHTENDS – Flood Gates
In another all-ninja pickup, Antonio Gates is fixing to go off. The Chargers do not want to go 0—5 and will go back to old faithful to make this happen.
DEFENSES – Pick A Card –
BALTIMORE – $4500 this is the lowest I’m going this week, and I think this is a great value. The Raiders offense was sputtering before the injury to Carr, I can’t a imagine a scenario where this makes the Raiders better.
On the flip side, the Raiders are going up against a terrible offense, deploy with confidence if your budget allows.
Good Luck Gamers
