Des Boodram

It’s the final week of the NFL season – and win or lose in cash games, we are finishing in the black.  There’s a lot of craziness going on in the NFL so I’m going to attempt to match that craziness with 2-3 dozen GPP tournament lineups.  At least three teams are on record as saying they are going to rest starters meaning there is a boat load of value out there and the only way to attempt to corner it, is to in fact enter multiple lineups.  Remember GPPs for the common player are supposed to be fun, and your reward for successful cash game play… have fun and you’ll get some value back… win or lose.

Drew Stanton at Seattle ($6400) – I think Stanton with a full receiving unit is more than serviceable at this price point.  Especially with no running game, and the chance to be a major spoiler.

Pat Mahomes at Denver ($6000) – Rumored to be getting his first NFL start – stranger things have happened.

Philip Rivers vs Oakland ($8300) – the Chargers have everything to play for, so I am expecting a huge game from Rivers.  Oakland won’t go down easy either, so expect a bunch of points in this one.

Kapri Bibbs at NYG ($5400) – ever been a week early on a guy?  Where you invest, but he lays a clunker only to go off the following week?  Bibbs is that guy this week.

Charcandrick West at Denver ($4900) – I like West to get about 20 touches with a rookie QB directing the huddle.  This is the ultimate GPP pick.

Christian McCaffrey at Atlanta ($6500) – McCaffrey is going to get lost in the mix here, and we really can’t risk playing him in cash.  He has the skill set to go off any given week and Atlanta struggles covering pass catching RBs.

Ted Ginn Jr. at Tampa Bay ($5800) – Ginn has been heating up of late, and Drew Brees loves throwing to him… definitely a boom or bust candidate with a favorable matchup.

Randall Cobb at Detroit ($5500) – no Jordy Nelson, or Davante Adams… double-digit targets here we come.

Roger Lewis vs Washington ($5100) – the dude has quietly received double-digit targets in three straight games…. Yeah you read that right…. This week will be four straight games

Antonio Gates vs Oakland ($5700) – I’ve got nothing at this position this week, though with Hunter Henry out Gates should get multiple red zone targets.

*** Remember the top four TEs, Gronk, Kelce, Ertz, and Graham all of playing time issues this week, so proceed with caution.

Detroit Lions vs Green Bay ($4700) –This is my GPP super NINJA pick of the week with Nelson, Devante Adams and Aaron Rodgers out, I’m not sure where this team will get their offense from this week.  With league INT leader Darius Slay covering Cobb, could be a long game if you’re a Cheesehead.
