Des Boodram

If we were having a conversation – I would say “please tell me you played Terry Rozier on Wednesday night”, because if you did, there’s a good chance you cashed, as you had a lot of money left over to spend on mid tier players.  A couple of players didn’t lay absolute eggs, but they didn’t hit value either and because Rozier hit 11X value he pulled a lot of weight to cover the slack.  I’m glad I hit on Rozier, but I have a lot to learn and in my efforts to stay humble I’m going to aim small, miss small until I get into a DFS football type rhythm.

Every game is provides a wealth of knowledge for me as I’m paying closer attention to game flow, roster changes and matchups, otherwise known as anything that may impact player performance.  Saturday’s slate is very enticing so get your line up in.  Here’s a little bit of what I’m looking at.

PG –  Looking For Some Dragic Magic
Goran Dragic has been the death of me this season as he goes off when I don’t roster him and turns into a mime when I do roster him.  I still like his matchup at Detroit tonight and he should be able to do a lot in 35 minutes.  Dragic went off for 24 points last time these two played making the $6500 price tag, more than reasonable.

SG – Bradly Beal Appeal

He’s a stud… he’s always been a stud, and will continue to be a stud.  He was a stud for the one year he played in Florida as well.  With John Wall out Beal will get more than enough volume.   He will be chalky in cash games, but his plus matchup against Orlando is mouth watering.  Just do it.

SF – Channeling Chandler

Wilson Chandler with the Denver Nuggets gets a tough matchup with the Golden State Warriors, but at $3900 you can’t go wrong.  I just need 20 fantasy point from Chandler for all my wildest dreams to come true.  He’s starting in place of Miles Plumlee and with all the attention going towards Jokic, I think Chandler and his 30 plus minutes will deliver value.

PF – Swimmin’ With Simmons

Simmons is not cheap, but there’s enough value out there affording him should be quite easy.  He hasn’t scored less than 30 FPPG in less in games and has over 30 FPPG in seven of his last eight games.  He should be worth every penny at the Indianapolis Pacers tonight.

C – All Smiles with Myles

Myles Turner is coming off a bit of an injury and this would be his third game but also his first back-to-back.  Please be diligent in checking to see if he is on the active roster tonight.  If so, I love his matchup as the Pacers host the 76ers.  I’m expecting this to be a high scoring game with a ton of points in transition as both teams have athletes everywhere.  Turner has killed it the last two games, and for $7100 he’s a steal.

Good Luck Gamers.
