MARCH 14TH DAILY FANTASY BASKETBALL – PLAYS THAT PAY

March 14th, 2018

The game has been good to me in 2018.  Our studs are being studs, and our value plays and injury fill-ins are getting major minutes and racking up the counting stats.  Sometimes the daily game comes to you, and sometimes you can’t find your way.  It usually happens to me for longer stints during the season, especially when I try to become more aggressive with my bankroll, but so far it hasn’t happened.  I am in the black with my big 5 format, and I’m going to stick with that for what looks like the rest of the season.  I remind you again, that my five core players, can almost always be used in standard daily basketball lineups, you just have finagle it a bit more… regardless of the format you choose – I’m ready to show you the money.

GUARD – Shaun Livingston

This may be a DFS first for me, but with Livingston, volume is the name of the game.  Curry, Green and Klay Thompson are all likely out, meaning Livingston could be the man handling the ball for the Warriors.  I’m expecting a boat load of counting stats in this one as Livingston cracks the 30 minute mark.

GUARD – Bradley Beal

This is far from a DFS as I’ve been on Beal a lot in the last month, hoping to catch a the 50 point game that I know he will rip off at some point.  I like that Beal can take advantage of a banged up Boston line-up that he dropped over 40 fantasy points on a month ago.

FORWARD – Kevin Durant

See Livingston above, except Durant has been doing this his entire career.  A monster should be in store, unless the Warrior decide to pack it in, in this one due to all the injuries.  I don’t think they do, because they still have a #1 seed to play for and home court advantage, plus they are home… they can’t just mail it at home, that poor form.

FORWARD – Justice Winslow

Winslow has outplayed all 4s and 5s not named Whiteside this season.  I’m confused as to why he is not getting run, but it does appear as though the levy is going to break on not only his playing time, but his ability to score in bunches while also logging starter minutes.  Given the matchup I still like Winslow even off the bench.  Let’s hope Justice is served tonight.

CENTER – Al Horford

Assuming Horford plays, because the Celtics need him desperately I expect an above average game from the Boston Center.  Washington sucks at guarding the Center position and several have gone off against the Wizards in the last dozen games.  Fingers crossed Horford is healthy, because if he plays, this line-up is really nice.
