It’s all good in the NBA playoffs right, and clear that consistent regular season participation give you a better handle on playoff lineup building. I’m not guaranteeing wins or even success… I’m simply saying that you’ll have a better handle on who’s in and who’s out and what they can handle. I had more fun on Saturday than any day in recent memory. My game selection roster killed it, and my 9-man full roster scored 327 points which is a killer number and will get you in the cash every time. I’m not retiring any time soon, but I’m loving life right now, and can’t wait for tomorrow’s slate. My line-up took a couple of 50/50s down out right, but not any tournaments so there’s always room for improvement. Let’s get after it.
PG – Tyus Jones – Minnesota
I just need 20 points from Jones here and I think I can get it. The T-Wolves are at full strength and will give the Rockets all they can handle. They match up will with Houston, and the depth that Jones provides will be key.
PG – Corey Joseph – Indiana
Joseph will come of the bench, but has the ability to produce starter type volume with starter type minutes. I’m counting on some garbage time production, while the Pacers offensive takes advantage of the Cavs defense
SG – Jalen Brown – Boston
Both teams who are chalked full of young talent are going to be amped up for what will be several player’s first playoff game. I think Brad Stevens has them ready to play, and the Bucks will play them close. Jalen Brown sees a lot of minutes in this one.
SG – Victor Oladipo – Indiana Pacers
Bad ankle or not, this guy has 50 point potential, especially at Cleveland where the Cavs defense has been suspect. There are several great SGs to choose from on tonight’s slate, I’m hoping Oldaipo gives us the best value for the price.
SF – Paul George – Oklahoma City
I so badly wanted to go Lebron and Giannis today, but I can’t make it work. Instead I’m Paul George at home against a tough Jazz defense. I think Westbrook will command a lot of attention, giving George the ball in isolation. Utah’s team defense is great, but they don’t have horse that matches up in George.
SF – Giannis Anteokounmpo – Bucks
The Greek Freak, is my big dollar spend, though between Harden, Westbrook, Lebron and Karl Anthony Towns you have several options.. I’m going balanced line ups with tomorrow’s slate as I expect a lot of close games.
PF – Jabari Parker – Bucks
He’s ready to go, right on time for the Playoffs. Parker who has rounded into form looks like a go as a starter in game one. Minutes plus volume equals great value.
PF – D Sabonis – Indiana
I have no idea how this one is going to go. I do know Sabonis finished the season with a major bang, and should get some major run in the playoffs. He’s dirt cheap and fits into roster construction nicely. The matchup against an underwhelming Cavs front court is good too.
C – Tristan Kardashian – Cleveland
How Tristan Thompson pulled a Kardashian while living in the dumpster fire that is Cleveland is beyond me. This entire drama is too much to handle, but I will say, I like Thompson’s prospects in this series. He will log some major minutes, as he’ll have to be on the court to neutralize Myles Turner and Sabonis. I’ll take go cheap at the Center position, and hope for the upside.
