WORLD SERIES OF HANDICAPPINT WEEK 2: CONSENSUS PICKS (2 of 2)

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS +3 at CHICAGO BEARS

You’re going give me a Hall of Fame QB against Mitchell Trubisky and give points???  The public loves the Bears because of two possessions by the Packers in the 2nd quarter where Khalil Mack forced a fumble, and scored a defensive TD against a backup QB.  After that the Bears were useless on both sides of the ball.  I’m all over this one and trust Russell Wilson to get it done.  Seattle 24 Chicago 20

LA CHARGERS -7 at BUFFALO BILLS

I can see this happening pretty easily for the Chargers as the Bills a perfect team to shake off the rust against.   People forget that the Bills were playoff team last season and there has to be something.  The Bills are beaming with pride, and have playmakers on both sides of the ball.   I like the Chargers, but I can see the Bills even though they don’t have a QB scoring a garbage time TD to totally cover this spread.

Chargers 31 Bills 26

CAROLINA PANTHERS 5.5 at ATLANTA FALCONS

I’m torn on this one with the official word that Devonta Freeman is out.  I was all in on Atlanta -5.5, but this game now has the feeling that it’s going to be tight.   Matt Ryan and company have traditionally handled the Panthers at home and with a full squad Atlanta should cover.  No Freeman however, and two cogs on defense also gone, means Cam and company can move the ball at their own pace.  This one is going to be close and that’s how Vegas likes it.  Panthers 27 Falcons 23.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS -1 at GREENBAY PACKERS

Some sports books aren’t even making this game available to bet on, because the Aaron Rodgers is so impactful.  He alone is worth 10 points, more than any player in history.  I’ll make this one easy – If Rodgers plays the Packers win.  If Rodgers doesn’t win the Vikings win this one with ease.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS -8.5 vs CLEVELAND BROWNS

I think the Saints win, but something is way off with their defense, which is going to tighten these games up.  Tyrod Taylor is good enough to score the football so another shootout is a distinct possibility.  Remember the Saints were -9.5 last week against the Bucs and lost outright.  This one is closer than we are thinking

Saints 34 Browns 27

PITTSBURGH STEELERS -5 vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

This game is going to be an absolute shootout, and I can’t wait to see all the Daily fantasy points racked up by my cash game plays.  Pat Mahomes who was great last week is making his first road start… and that’s not great.  It’s a different animal when you go away from home in a loud stadium.  Big Ben is also great at home, so with an improved stat line, compared with a slight digression by Mahomes, Pittsburgh has some major potential here, to put up big numbers in this one… against a bad defense.  Steelers 38 Chiefs 31.

Good luck gamers.
