Game Date: Monday, September 24, 2018 at 8:15 PM

Location: Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off on Monday Night Football on September 24, 2018.

This will be the first time that the Steelers and Buccaneers will play each other since 2014, when the Bucs beat the Steelers 27-24.

Since 2000, the Steelers and Buccaneers have played each other 5 times, with Pittsburgh winning 4 out of 5 games SU and ATS.

Game Location

This game is being played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida with the kickoff scheduled to take place at 8:15 PM ET. The past 3 games played in Tampa Bay have all gone in favor of the Steelers SU and ATS.

Pittsburgh Steelers Recap

It sounds weird saying this but the Pittsburgh Steelers will be looking for their first win of the 2018 NFL Regular Season and will try to get it on Monday Night Football. The Steelers are 0-2 ATS this year and have played both of their games over the posted total.

In game 1 of the regular season, the Steelers played to a 21-21 tie against the Cleveland Browns. In game 2, they lost to the high powered offense of the Kansas City Chiefs by the score 42-37.

There is a lot of issues right now in Pittsburgh. For starters, WR Antonio Brown didn’t show up for practice on Monday and RB Le’Veon Bell still hasn’t reported from his holdout. There is some question floating around if Mike Tomlin has lost control of the locker room in Pittsburgh.

For the past 2 seasons, there has been plenty of finger pointing, excuses and reasons were given out why the Steelers have had issues. Last year, Ben Roethlisberger tried to shoulder the burden of the cause but he came back strong the following week and shut up all the doubters.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Recap

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been a pleasant surprise on offense this year. They were anticipating some slow offensive output with starting quarterback Jameis Winston sitting out the first three games of the regular season but it has been anything but slow.

Ryan Fitzpatrick has made a name for himself here in Tampa Bay and is bringing a level of excitement to the Buccaneers that they haven’t had in some time. Fitzpatrick and the Bucs are now 2-0 but SU and ATS. Much like the Steelers, they have played over the posted total in both of their games this year.

There has been some speculation of what should happen when Winston returns next week from his suspension. Here is your answer: YOU KEEP THE OFFENSE THE WAY IT IS! This unit is moving the ball with great effectiveness and until Fitzpatrick starts to screw up or turn the ball over, he should be the starting quarterback.

Pittsburgh and Tampa Play High Scoring Monday Night Game It’s hard to play against the Steelers on Monday Night but then again, its hard to play against the Buccaneers right now, knowing this team is really clicking in this system on offense. That leads me to the total so I can avoid the side.

The past two times the Bucs and Steelers have played each other, the game has played over the posted total. Additionally, both teams have played both of their games Over the posted total this year. With the way Tampa is scoring points, as well as the way they are allowing opponents to score on them, it’s hard to fathom this game not going over.
