The first-round series between the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets has been very competitive thus far. They split the first two games SU and ATS in Philadelphia. After they play Game 3 in Brooklyn on Thursday, Game 4 will tip off Saturday afternoon at 3 PM ET on TNT.

Philadelphia came into this series with lingering concerns over center Joel Embiid and his sore left knee. Embiid played well during both games in Philly, but didn’t have his usual mobility; fortunately for the Sixers, they’ve been able to manage Embiid’s minutes thus far, with Boban Marjanovic, Jonah Bolden and late-season signee Greg Monroe playing important minutes off the bench.
After winning the opener, the Nets were without Jared Dudley (sore right calf) for Game 2, and his absence on defense was felt in a 145-123 loss as 8.5-point road dogs. Dudley remains questionable for Game 3; the Sixers are –3.5 at press time for that matchup, up from –2.5 at the open, with the total holding steady at 227 points. The health of back-up center Ed Davis (ankle) will also be worth monitoring in his ongoing battle with Embiid, who has dominated starter Jarrett Allen thus far.
