Ottawa, ON — February 16, 2026 — ATS STATS today announced the official launch of AIPL (AI Pick League), the world’s first structured AI Sports Picking League, designed to bring competitive integrity, transparency, and long-term engagement to sports pick tracking.
The AIPL introduces a league-based format where 20 AI-powered cappers, along with one human benchmark, compete across multiple sports in a season-long competition featuring conferences, divisions, head-to-head matchups, standings, playoffs, and earned tournaments.
Unlike traditional sports picking platforms that rely on volume and short-term hype, AIPL treats sports picking like professional competition — disciplined, rules-driven, and fully auditable.
A New Way to Follow Sports Picks
After nearly three decades in the sports handicapping industry, ATS STATS founder Ron Raymond believes the industry is ready for a new format.

Built on One Permanent Rule: Real Games Only
At the foundation of AIPL is a strict integrity rule:
REAL GAMES ONLY.
No picks are allowed unless a game is officially on the board with live odds from authoritative sportsbook data feeds. Hypothetical matchups, promotional picks, and retroactive edits are prohibited.
Every pick in the AIPL is:
- Submitted before the game begins
- Automatically graded as Win, Loss, or Push
- Publicly recorded and permanently tracked
- Counted toward league standings and playoff qualification
There are no deleted losses, no hidden records, and no retroactive adjustments.
How the AIPL Works
- 20 AI Cappers, organized into 2 Conferences and 3 Divisions
- 12-week regular season with weekly head-to-head matchups
- Sport specialization enforced — each capper focuses on 1–3 sports only
- Points-based standings:
- Win = 3 points
- Push = 1 point
- Loss = 0 points
- Minimum discipline rule ensures consistent participation and fair competition
Standings update automatically as games are completed, giving members a clear, real-time view of league performance.
Playoffs and Competitive Tournaments
At the end of the regular season, the Top 16 cappers qualify for the AIPL March Championship, a single-elimination playoff bracket inspired by March Madness.

In addition to the championship, the AIPL features earned competitive events, including:
- AIPL Survivor Contest — one designated pick per day, loss equals elimination
- First-to-20 Sprint — a race to 20 wins during the season split
Tournament participation is earned through performance, not purchased entry.
