The Padres are 7-3 at home in their last 10 vs the Diamondbacks along with starting Padres pitcher Garrett Richards being 3-0 vs Arizona when throwing from his home hill. For Arizona starter Z. Gallen this will be his 1st meeting with Padres entering the contest with 3-6 record.
