How does the Law of Average Indicator Works?
Some sports handicappers live by this “Golden Rule of Handicapping”: “Play on a team who lost (SU) and didn’t cover the spread (ATS) in their last game vs. a team who won (SU) and covered the spread (ATS) in their last game.
Reason: Sportsbooks are aware of the teams who’ve won their last game, it’s hard for teams to cover in back to back games. It’s the old “Law of Average” theory and the percentages are in your favor when you’re betting with a team coming off an ATS lost.
