The defending champions are back in the hunt. After a very slow start to the 2019 campaign, the Boston Red Sox enter the second half at 49-41, just two games out of a Wild Card spot in the American League. But the Red Sox have some catching up to do with the 60-32 Los Angeles Dodgers. They’ll face each other again this Sunday at Fenway, starting at 7:05 PM ET on ESPN.

The Dodgers are back with a vengeance after losing the 2018 World Series to Boston – one year after the Houston Astros squeaked past them in seven games. They have yet to decide on Sunday’s starter at press time, but LA has one of the best rotations in baseball, although the relief corps could use an upgrade before the trade deadline.
David Price (3.24 ERA) is due up for the Red Sox, and while he wasn’t part of this year’s All-Star festivities, Price is arguably at the top of his game, striking out a career-high 10.3 batters per nine innings. However, the Sox are only 9-7 in Price’s 16 starts thus far, with the UNDER at 9-6-1; five of his seven “No Decisions” ended in defeat for Boston.
