CFL Week 13 Power Ratings – Raymond Report

By Ron Raymond – ATS Stats

Week 13 Power Ratings Overview

The CFL playoff picture is tightening, and the Raymond Report Strength of Schedule (SOS) Power Ratings highlight which teams are trending up and which are fading fast. Saskatchewan still sets the pace, Calgary looks like their biggest challenger, while Edmonton’s quiet surge has put bettors on notice.

Raymond Report Power Ratings – Week 13

1. Saskatchewan Roughriders (8-2, PR 0.65)

Still the benchmark. Saskatchewan’s PR has held steady at 0.65 across the season and last 7 games. They took a minor hit in the last 3 (PR 0.50), but their balance and depth keep them on top.

2. Calgary Stampeders (7-3, PR 0.61)

The Stamps are pushing hard for #1. Their consistency is unmatched: PR 0.61 both season-long and last 3 games. If anyone can dethrone Saskatchewan in the West, it’s Calgary.

3. Hamilton Tiger-Cats (6-4, PR 0.54)

The Ticats slipped but remain the East’s most stable club. Strong recent numbers (PR 0.59 over last 7) suggest they’re hanging tough, even if the gap with the West is still glaring.

4. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-4, PR 0.53)

Winnipeg quietly moved into the upper half. Their season PR (0.53) is solid, but the last 7 games (PR 0.45) show some slippage. Still a dangerous team, especially at home.

5. British Columbia Lions (5-6, PR 0.50)

The Lions are treading water. Season PR is neutral (0.50), but the last 7 games (0.54) show slight improvement. They’re a swing team — volatile, but capable of an upset.

6. Edmonton Elks (4-6, PR 0.43)

Don’t let the season PR fool you. Edmonton is hot — undefeated in their last 3 games (3-0, PR 0.61). If they sustain this momentum, they could leap BC and Winnipeg in short order.

7. Montreal Alouettes (5-6, PR 0.46)

The Als are falling apart. A season PR of 0.46 is bad enough, but their last 3 (PR 0.39) is worse. They’ve lost three straight and bettors should be cautious.

8. Toronto Argonauts (3-8, PR 0.39)

Toronto showed a little life (PR 0.50 in last 3), but the season-long numbers (0.39 PR, 27% win rate) don’t lie. They’re still fade material until further notice.

9. Ottawa Redblacks (3-8, PR 0.40)

Another lost season in the capital. Ottawa is competitive at times, but their PR trend (0.43 last 7) is flat. They’ve become a spoiler team, not a contender.

Betting Takeaways

  • West still rules: Saskatchewan, Calgary, and now Edmonton are running circles around the East.
  • Hamilton is the East’s only stable play, but they’re a notch below the West elite.
  • Edmonton is the buy sign: 3 straight wins, PR spike, and market value likely lagging.
  • Montreal/Toronto remain high-risk plays, while Ottawa is nothing more than a cover-or-bust team.
