With just weeks left in the regular season, the Raymond Report Power Ratings spotlight a league tightening at the top. Saskatchewan is still #1, but BC and Montreal are heating up, Hamilton remains steady, while Calgary has hit a major skid. Winnipeg is hanging around .500, Edmonton is scrappy, and Ottawa and Toronto are still spoilers.
The Riders are still the league’s benchmark, though not as dominant as earlier. Their last 3-game PR dipped to 0.50, showing vulnerability. They’re still in “A” territory but no longer untouchable.
Consistent and trending up. A strong 2–1 stretch (PR 0.61) proves Hamilton is peaking when it matters. They remain the East’s most trustworthy side.
📈 BC is alive again. Winners of 3 straight, their last 3-game PR spiked to 0.61. Their 5–2 record over the last 7 (PR 0.57) shows they’re surging at just the right time.
🔥 The Als are back in the mix after a 3–0 run with a PR of 0.61 over that span. Once a fade candidate, they’ve stormed back into contention.
The Bombers are grinding at .500 but trending steady. Their last 3-game PR (0.61) shows life, though inconsistency remains their biggest issue.
❄️ The coldest contender. Calgary has lost 3 straight with a brutal PR dip to 0.39. From title threat to fade candidate, the Stamps are slipping at the worst time.
Edmonton continues to fight. Their season PR (0.46) is below average, but their 7-game PR (0.51) shows they’re better than their record suggests. Spoiler role remains strong.
The Argos are who they are. They’ve dropped two of their last three but did show a temporary PR bump (0.56). Still, at 5-10, they’re fighting only for pride.
Ottawa’s season PR of 0.40 keeps them last, but their last 3-game PR (0.61) shows they’re still scrappy enough to ruin someone’s playoff positioning.
