Ron Raymond’s CFL Football Power Ratings: Week 10

After the recent Week 9 games, the CFL Power Ratings have seen some significant shifts. The current power ratings take into account each team’s overall win-loss record, strength of schedule (SOS), and performance over the last three and seven games. Here’s how the teams are shaping up:

  1. Toronto Argonauts (6-1)
The Argonauts have suffered their first loss this season but remain dominant with a 6-1 record. Their strength shines through their power rating (PR) of 0.64, despite a recent drop to 0.50 in the last three games.
  2. Winnipeg Blue Bombers (6-2)
With a strong 6-2 record for the season, the Blue Bombers hold steady in the second spot. They’ve maintained a PR of 0.50 in their last three games, with an overall PR of 0.61.
  3. British Columbia Lions (6-2)
The Lions have seen a slight decline to a 6-2 record for the season. Their PR has also dropped to 0.50 in the last three games, reflecting a recent struggle. However, their overall PR of 0.61 keeps them in a strong third position.
  4. Montreal Alouettes (4-3)
The Alouettes have improved their standing to a 4-3 record for the season. They’ve shown consistency with a PR of 0.56 in the last three games and 0.57 in the last seven games, positioning them fourth in the league.
  5. Saskatchewan Roughriders (4-4)
The Roughriders have reached a balanced 4-4 record on the season, maintaining a PR of 0.44 in the last three games and an overall PR of 0.47.
  6. Calgary Stampeders (3-5)
With a slight improvement to a 3-5 record, the Stampeders hold the sixth spot. Their last three games have resulted in a PR of 0.44, with an overall PR of 0.48.
  7. Hamilton Tiger-Cats (3-5)
The Tiger-Cats find themselves with a 3-5 record, mirroring the Stampeders but with a lower PR of 0.44 in the last three games and an overall PR of 0.46.
  8. Ottawa Redblacks (3-5)
Also standing at a 3-5 record, the Redblacks have a lower PR of 0.33 in the last three games and an overall PR of 0.40.
  9. Edmonton Elks (0-8)
With no wins so far, the Elks have a difficult journey ahead. Their PR remains the lowest in the league at 0.28 for the last three games and an overall PR of 0.30.

As we move forward to Week 10, we expect more thrilling games and potential upsets. Stay tuned for the upcoming power ranking updates!
