I think I agree.
You know, you’re not the first sports gambler to think that chalk means an edge.
MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY people who are willing to wager on a team would prefer to wager on the “favourite”.
So I need to add that as well.
It’s like I said with Tyson A vs Tyson B, you have:
Hometown bias of big cities (to move the line and give the dog VALUE)
Namebrand teams that “never lose” (to move the line and give the dog VALUE)
Martingale bettors betting streaks (to move the line and give the dog value)
And the one I want to add now?
YOU HAVE A TEAM PRICED AS CHALK CAUSING 10s OF 1000s OF PEOPLE TO BLINDLY BET THE FAVOURITE. (to move the line and give the dog value)
Seeing that TBR lost today only strengthens my resolve.
Looking at my last 18 losses only strengthens my resolve.
I wouldn’t go near the dogs in October though…but until then?
