MLB Market Value Index Report – August 10, 2025

Straight from the ATS STATS trading floor, where every stat is a ticker symbol and every team is a stock. We’re looking at the Daily Market Value Index (DMVI) and confidence levels to identify the buy signals, overhyped stocks, and dumpster fires of Major League Baseball.

📈 Bullish Stocks – Teams on the Rise

These clubs are trending up and showing strong market confidence. If you’re riding streaks, these are your blue chips:

  • MILWAUKEE (A) – 8-game heater, 100% confidence, DMVI: -179. Books are pricing them like gold, and smart bettors are still buying.
  • PHILADELPHIA (B) – 2 straight wins, 71% confidence, DMVI: -168. Still undervalued compared to their performance.
  • SEATTLE (B) – 6 straight wins, 85% confidence, DMVI: -144. Mariners have been stealthy profit machines.
  • BOSTON (B) – 5-2 last 7, 71% confidence, DMVI: -147. Market hasn’t caught up to their hot bats.
  • CLEVELAND (B) – Winners of 5 in a row, 85% confidence, DMVI: -140.

📉 Bearish Stocks – Proceed with Caution

These teams are on a slide and the market knows it. Best to steer clear until they hit bottom:

  • NY METS (B) – 6-game skid, just 14% confidence, DMVI: -123.
  • NY YANKEES (B) – 2-5 in their last 7, confidence at 28%, DMVI: -126.
  • WASHINGTON (C) – 28% confidence, DMVI: 159.
  • CHI WHITE SOX (C) – 6 straight losses, DMVI: 190.
  • COLORADO (C) – 1-6 last 7, DMVI: 203. They’re priced like a penny stock for a reason.

💎 Value Stocks – Where the Market Might Be Sleeping

These aren’t necessarily the hottest teams, but the numbers suggest value plays where the market hasn’t adjusted yet:

  • ARIZONA (C) – 5-2 last 7, bullish signal, DMVI: -144. Still priced as a C-grade team — opportunity here.
  • ST. LOUIS (B) – Even record but a positive DMVI of 114. Could be mispriced in the market.

Final Word

Markets move fast, and the sportsbooks are no different. The DMVI chart helps us spot overbought teams before the value evaporates — and find overlooked stocks before the market wakes up. Whether you’re shorting the Mets or buying into the Brewers’ rally, the numbers don’t lie… but the lines can.
