Today’s card is packed with divisional battles, inflated chalk, and live dogs. Let’s break down each matchup using the Raymond Report.
The Sox (71-60) lean on Garrett Crochet as they battle the O’s at Camden Yards. Boston has split its last 10 (5-5) but enters off two straight wins. Baltimore (60-70) is struggling despite a 6-4 run in its last 10. Value Index sits neutral, leaning Boston’s way against Sugano.
Atlanta (59-71) has Spencer Strider on the bump and a 7-3 run in its last 10. The Marlins (61-69) counter with Cabrera but sit just 3-7 over their last 10. Market leans Braves with a low total (7.5), expect a tight pitcher’s duel.
Rays (63-67) bring Ian Seymour, while the Guardians (64-64) start Tanner Bibee. Cleveland is ice cold (2-8 last 10), losing five straight. The line reflects that, with Guardians slight chalk. Under trend has hit in five of their last six.
Nats (52-77) send Brad Lord to face Cam Schlittler. Washington has dropped two straight and faces a Bronx Bombers team (70-60) that’s heating up again. Yankees heavy chalk (-241), totals lean Over with both teams trending in that direction.
Minnesota (58-71) sends Joe Ryan against Max Scherzer and the Jays (76-55). Toronto has cooled slightly but remains a dangerous home favorite. Twins are just 2-8 last 10. Expect Jays to bounce back after a tough loss vs Miami.
Phillies (76-54) continue to push for the division with Cristopher Sanchez. Mets (69-61) counter with Kodai Senga. Phillies hot (7-3 L10), Mets more volatile. Line reflects Philly’s momentum, but Senga’s home edge keeps this close.
Royals (67-64) send Noah Cameron to the hill against Shane Smith and the White Sox (47-83). KC is on a 7-3 run and trending up, while the Sox are 3-7 last 10. Line leans heavily KC, but Overs remain a sneaky trend here.
Brewers (81-50) send Woodruff to face Eduardo Rodriguez. Arizona (64-66) continues to fight but Milwaukee remains a top-tier A-grade team despite a 4-6 stretch in their last 10. Brewers remain overpriced chalk, but market supports them.
Pirates (57-74) are on a 4-game heater and hand the ball to Johan Oviedo. Cards (64-67) counter with McGreevy, but have dropped two straight. Value Index leans Pittsburgh as a live dog.
Angels (61-69) send Soriano against deGrom. Rangers (66-66) trending steady despite an even record. Angels have been Over kings (71-56-3), but facing deGrom makes the Under look sharper tonight.
Padres (74-57) face Bryce Miller and a Mariners (70-61) squad trying to stay alive. Mariners 3-7 in last 10 but the market respects Miller at home. Padres have the better form but VIC leans bearish.
Skubal gets the nod for Detroit (78-54) at home. Oakland (60-72) counters with Ginn. Tigers are red hot (8-2 L10) and Over has been strong in recent weeks. Price is inflated but Detroit in top form.
Dodgers (74-57) send Sheehan against Shane Greene. Both teams splitting their last 10 (5-5). Reds continue to be scrappy but Dodgers are the stronger home side. Line reflects LA’s edge despite recent inconsistency.
