Chicago Bulls (210) vs. Sacramento Kings (5) Preview & Prediction (12/02/2019)

The Chicago Bulls will be on the road Monday taking the court against the Kings at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. The Bulls will look to end a four-game skid following a 107-103 loss against the Trail Blazers in Portland on Friday. The Kings will be looking for back-to-back wins following a 100-97 win at home against the Denver Nuggets their last time on the court.

The Chicago Bulls are now 6-14 on the season following a 107-103 loss against the Trail Blazers in Portland. Zach Lavine was able to knock down 8 of 24 from the field to lead the Bulls with 28 points. Tomas Satoransky was able to pass the ball for a team-high eight assists while both Wendell Carter Jr. and Thaddeus Young hauled in nine rebounds. Chicago had five different players finish the game with at least 12 points.

The Bulls have been good for an average of 106.1 points per game on the offensive end of the court while hitting 42.3 percent from the field. They have been able to pass the ball for an average of 23.0 assists per night while grabbing 44.1 rebounds. Defensively, they allow an average of 110.3 points per game to their opponents. Chicago has been taking the ball away for 9.8 steals every time they are on the court to go along with 3.9 blocks. They will be looking to avoid a fourth consecutive loss.

The Sacramento Kings are now 8-10 following a 100-97 overtime win at home against the Denver Nuggets. Harrison Barnes was able to drop 10 of 19 from the field to lead the Kings with 30 points. Both Bogdan Bogdanovic and Nemanja Bjelica passed the ball for five assists while Bjelica pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds. Sacramento had five different players finish the game with a double-digit scoring night.

The Kings have been able to put the ball in the net for an average of 104.2 points per game this season while shooting 44.5 from the field. Sacramento has passed the ball for an average of 22.7 assists per night with 41.8 rebounds. On the defensive end of the floor, Sacramento gives up 107.6 points per night. The Kings average 7.7 steals per game to go along with 4.8 blocks. They will be looking for back-to-back wins.

The Kings will take the court as five-point favorites with the total sitting at 210 for the game. I’m liking Chicago to cover this spread. They are scoring more points per game, passing for more assists, as well as averaging more steals on defense. I’m not necessarily saying the Bulls will get a win, but I at least think they keep it within five points.

The trends don’t support this pick.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? (CFL, CFB and NFL)
C.O.C. = (Chances of Covering) – The ‘C.O.C.’ percentage is based on a teams win/lost record from a ‘Point Spread’ perspective and not their ‘straight up’ (SU) record, using the teams short and long-term win/lost record. After we process it through our ‘math predictor’, we then provide a ‘CHANCES OF COVERING’ percentage for that team in their next game, which let’s you know if there’s any value on betting that team.
C.O.G.O. = (Chances Game Going OVER) – The ‘C.O.G.O.’ percentage is based on both teams OVER/UNDER record, using both teams short and long-term OVER/UNDER records. After we process it through our ‘math predictor’, we then provide a ‘CHANCES OF COVERING’ percentage for that game, which let’s you know if there’s any value on the OVER in that game.
*Note: If there’s a 60% chance of the game going OVER, that means, there’s a 40% chance of the game going UNDER.
MSV = (Market Spread Value) – The MSV is our researched and calculated line compared to the bookmaker’s line. When calculating the MSV, we look for the margin of error between the bookmaker’s line, the final result of a game and then produce the value of what the line should be in the next game for both teams.VI = (Value Index) – The Value Index is the current psychology of the betting public, based on a teams 3-game cycle.

  • BULLISH = Team is either (3-0) in their last 3 games.
  • NEUTRAL = Team is either (1-2 or 2-3) in their last 3 games.
  • BEARISH = Team is either (0-3) in their last 3 games.

L.O.A. = (Law of Average) – The “Law of Average” edge is based on the 50/50 theory. Play on a team that lost against the spread (ATS) or straight up (SU) in their last game, vs. a team that won against the spread (ATS) or straight up (SU) in their last game.
