The Chicago Bulls will be on the road Monday taking the court against the Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The Bulls will be looking for back-to-back wins following a 109-106 win at home against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday. The Thunder will be looking to end a two-game skid following a 110-102 loss in Denver against the Nuggets their last time on the court.
Chicago is now 10-18 on the year following a 109-106 win at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. Zach LaVine was able to knock down 11 of 21 from the field to lead the Bulls with 31 points. Tomas Satoransky passed the ball for a team-high five assists while Lauri Markkanen hauled in 17 rebounds. Chicago had five different players finish the game with at least 13 points.
The Bulls have been good for an average of 105.5 points per game on the offensive end of the court while hitting 42.8 percent from the field. They have been able to pass the ball for an average of 23.1 assists per night while grabbing 43.6 rebounds. Defensively, they allow an average of 107.3 points per game to their opponents. Chicago has been taking the ball away for 9.7 steals every time they are on the court to go along with 4.3 blocks. They will be looking for a second win in a row.
Oklahoma City Thunder
Oklahoma City will take the court sitting at 11-14 following a 110-102 loss in Denver against the Nuggets. Dennis Schroder was able to connect on 8 of 17 from the field to lead the Thunder with 22 points. Chris Paul passed the ball for a team-high 10 assists while Steven Adams pulled down 14 rebounds. OKC had five different players finish the game with a double-digit scoring night.
The Thunder have been able to put the ball in the net for an average of 107.5 points per game this season while shooting 46.3 from the field. Oklahoma City has passed the ball for an average of 21.6 assists per night with 42.7 rebounds. On the defensive end of the floor, Oklahoma City gives up 107.3 points per night. The Thunder average 7.4 steals per game to go along with 44.9 blocks. They will be looking to avoid a third consecutive loss.
The Oklahoma City Thunder will take the court as five and a half point favorites with the total sitting at 207 on the game. I’m liking Chicago to cover this spread on the road. They are scoring an average of two points less per game with both teams giving up an average of 107 points. The Bulls have a few players with injury issues so I’m not confident enough to say they will win, but I like them keeping the game within five and a half points.
Chicago is 4-1 ATS in their previous five games.
Chicago is 5-2 ATS in their previous seven games on the road.
