The Indiana Pacers will be on the road Sunday taking the court against the Magic at the Amway Center in Orlando. The Pacers will be looking for a third consecutive win after beating the Detroit Pistons 112-106 at home on Friday. The Magic will be looking for back-to-back wins after getting the best of the Memphis Grizzlies 118-86 at home their last time on the court.
The Indiana Pacers are now 5-4 on the season following a 112-106 win against the Detroit Pistons. The Pacers had three different players with 17 points. T.J. McConnell was able to pass the ball around for a team-high nine assists while Domantas Sabonis grabbed 14 rebounds. Indiana had seven players with at least 10 points in the game.
The Pacers have been good for an average of 109.3 points per game on the offensive end of the court while hitting 46.6 percent from the field. They have been able to pass the ball for an average of 25.7 assists per night while grabbing 44.4 rebounds. Defensively, they allow an average of 106.3 points per game to their opponents. Indiana has been taking the ball away for 7.6 steals every time they are on the court to go along with 5.9 blocks. They will be looking for a third win in a row.
The Orlando Magic are now 3-6 following a 118-86 win at home against the Memphis Grizzlies. Nikola Vucevic was able to drop 9 of 16 from the field to lead Orlando with 23 points. Both he and Evan Fourier were able to spread the ball for six assists while Vucevic grabbed a team-high 16 rebounds. Orlando had five different players with double digits in scoring on the night.
The Magic have been able to put the ball in the net for an average of 97.7 points per game this season while shooting 41.4 from the field. Orlando has passed the ball for an average of 21.3 assists per night with 48.0 rebounds. On the defensive end of the floor, Orlando gives up 98.2 points per night. The Magic average 8.8 steals per game to go along with 6.8 blocks. They will be looking for back-to-back wins.
The Orlando Magic will take the court on Sunday as three-point favorites with the total sitting at 203.5. Orlando is one of the best defensive teams in the NBA this season as far as the number of points they give up. That being said, they don’t exactly put the ball in the hoop too many times themselves. Because of that, I’m liking the Pacers to cover the three-point spread.
Indiana is 8-1 ATS in their previous nine games played in Orlando.
Orlando is 1-6 ATS in their previous seven games against the Eastern Conference.
