The Los Angeles Clippers will be on the road Friday taking the court against the Spurs at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. The Clippers will be looking to continue their winning streak after beating the Grizzlies 121-119 in Memphis on Wednesday. The Spurs will be looking to end a two-game skid following a 113-101 loss at home against the Minnesota Grizzlies their last time on the court.
The Los Angeles Clippers are now 14-5 on the season following a 121-119 win against the Grizzlies in Memphis. Both Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell were able to score 24 points in the game. Williams was able to pass the ball for a team-high 13 assists while Harrell snatched up 10 rebounds. Los Angeles had five players finish the game with a double-digit night scoring.
The Clippers have been good for an average of 114.6 points per game on the offensive end of the court while hitting 45.9 percent from the field. They have been able to pass the ball for an average of 23.5 assists per night while grabbing 48.9 rebounds. Defensively, they allow an average of 107.5 points per game to their opponents. Los Angeles has been taking the ball away for 7.7 steals every time they are on the court to go along with 5.7 blocks. They will be looking for an eighth consecutive win.
The San Antonio Spurs are now 6-13 following a 113-101 loss at home against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Lamarcus Aldridge was able to knock down 10 of 19 from the field to lead the Spurs with 22 points. Derrick White passed the ball for a team-high six assists while Rudy Gay pulled down 11 rebounds. The Spurs had four different players finish the game with at least 10 points.
The Spurs have been able to put the ball in the net for an average of 111.7 points per game this season while shooting 47.1 from the field. San Antonio has passed the ball for an average of 24.1 assists per night with 45.9 rebounds. On the defensive end of the floor, San Antonio gives up 115.2 points per night. The Spurs average 5.9 steals per game to go along with 5.5 blocks. They will be looking for a third consecutive win.
The Clippers will take the court as six-point favorites on Friday with the total sitting at 226.5. I’m liking Los Angeles to cover this spread. They have been putting up better numbers at both ends of the court and Kawhi Leonard should be playing. I think the Spurs keep it close for about three and a half quarters with the Clippers pulling away in the fourth. I think L.A. wins by closer to 15 than six.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? (CFL, CFB and NFL)
C.O.C. = (Chances of Covering) – The ‘C.O.C.’ percentage is based on a teams win/lost record from a ‘Point Spread’ perspective and not their ‘straight up’ (SU) record, using the teams short and long-term win/lost record. After we process it through our ‘math predictor’, we then provide a ‘CHANCES OF COVERING’ percentage for that team in their next game, which let’s you know if there’s any value on betting that team. C.O.G.O. = (Chances Game Going OVER) – The ‘C.O.G.O.’ percentage is based on both teams OVER/UNDER record, using both teams short and long-term OVER/UNDER records. After we process it through our ‘math predictor’, we then provide a ‘CHANCES OF COVERING’ percentage for that game, which let’s you know if there’s any value on the OVER in that game.
*Note: If there’s a 60% chance of the game going OVER, that means, there’s a 40% chance of the game going UNDER. MSV = (Market Spread Value) – The MSV is our researched and calculated line compared to the bookmaker’s line. When calculating the MSV, we look for the margin of error between the bookmaker’s line, the final result of a game and then produce the value of what the line should be in the next game for both teams.VI = (Value Index) – The Value Index is the current psychology of the betting public, based on a teams 3-game cycle.
BULLISH = Team is either (3-0) in their last 3 games.
NEUTRAL = Team is either (1-2 or 2-3) in their last 3 games.
BEARISH = Team is either (0-3) in their last 3 games.
L.O.A. = (Law of Average) – The “Law of Average” edge is based on the 50/50 theory. Play on a team that lost against the spread (ATS) or straight up (SU) in their last game, vs. a team that won against the spread (ATS) or straight up (SU) in their last game.
