Los Angeles Lakers (4.5) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (211) Preview (11/22/2019)

The Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road Friday taking the court against the Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The Lakers will be looking to keep their winning streak going following a 112-107 against the Thunder in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Oklahoma City will look to avoid losing three consecutive games following the loss to the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers are now 12-2 on the season following a 112-107 win at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Anthony Davis was able to knock down 13 of 24 from the field to lead the Lakers with 34 points. Both Lebron James and Rajon Rondo were able to pass the ball around for 10 assists while James hauled in 11 rebounds. Los Angeles had three different players finish the game with a double-digit scoring night.

The Lakers have been good for an average of 110.9 points per game on the offensive end of the court while hitting 47.8 percent from the field. They have been able to pass the ball for an average of 26.6 assists per night while grabbing 45.9 rebounds. Defensively, they allow an average of 101.1 points per game to their opponents. Los Angeles has been taking the ball away for 8.4 steals every time they are on the court to go along with 7.8 blocks. They will be looking for a sixth consecutive win.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are now 5-9 on the season following the loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles. Dennis Schroder was able to connect on 12 of 20 from the field to lead the Thunder with 31 points. Chris Paul was able to pass the ball for a team-high 10 assists while Nerlens Noel grabbed eight rebounds. Oklahoma City had four different players with at least 15 points in the game.

The Thunder have been able to put the ball in the net for an average of 105.7 points per game this season while shooting 45.4 from the field. OKC has passed the ball for an average of 21.3 assists per night with 43.1 rebounds. On the defensive end of the floor, Oklahoma City gives up 106.2 points per night. The Thunder average 8.2 steals per game to go along with 4.3 blocks. They will be looking to avoid a third consecutive loss.

The Lakers will take the court as four and a half point favorites with the total sitting at 211 on the game. I’m liking Los Angeles to cover this spread on Friday. They are putting up better numbers on both ends of the court, shooting a higher percentage from the field, as well as passing the ball for more assists. Add all that up and I think it leads to at least a five_point win for the Lakers.
