The Los Angeles Rams have finally done it. Three years after coming up short at the big game, Sean McVay and the Rams are on top of the football world. They beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at Super Bowl LVI this past Sunday, although the Bengals still covered as 4.5-point underdogs at Bovada Sportsbook. The Under also cashed in on the closing total of 48.5 points.

It looked for a while like McVay and the Rams’ offense were going to put away Cincinnati early. Then Odell Beckham Jr was forced to leave the game during the second quarter with a knee injury, and the Bengals were able to take the lead early in the third. Both quarterbacks were limited by injuries in the second half, but Matthew Stafford had just enough left to lead LA on what would prove to be the game-winning drive, finding Cooper Kupp in the end zone with 1:25 left on the clock.

The Rams now look forward to the 2022-23 campaign, where they opened as +900 third favorites at Bovada to win Super Bowl LVII. Buffalo and Kansas City are tied atop the NFL odds board at +700; the Bengals are fourth at +1000.
