The NFC side of the Wild Card Weekend bracket contains some must-see matchups, but none as compelling as Sunday’s game between the No. 3 Dallas Cowboys and the No. 6 San Francisco 49ers. Kick-off from AT&T Stadium is at 4:30 PM ET on CBS; odds are pending at press time.

The Cowboys (12-5 SU, 13-4 ATS) already had the NFC East division sewn up heading into Week 18, but they played their starters on offense and beat the Philadelphia Eagles 51-26 as 6.5-point road favorites, avoiding any serious injuries in the process. That was a Saturday game, so Dallas will have the rest advantage over San Francisco (10-7 SU, 9-8 ATS), who secured their playoff spot on Sunday with a 27-24 overtime win versus the Los Angeles Rams (–3.5 at home).
The big news from the Niners is that QB Jimmy Garoppolo returned to action after missing Week 17 with a thumb injury. He was shaky at first as LA built a 17-0 lead, but Garoppolo engineered the game-tying touchdown drive in the final 2:29, and after PK Robbie Gould kicked the go-ahead field goal in the extra frame, CB Ambry Thomas sealed things with an interception.
