How to Play Blackjack

Welcome to Blackjack! Here’s how you can play:

  • The Objective: The goal is to get as close to 21 points as possible without going over. If you go over 21, you bust and lose the game.
  • Card Values:
    • Number cards (2-10) are worth their face value.
    • Face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10 points.
    • Aces are worth 11 points, but if you go over 21, they will count as 1 point instead.
  • Starting the Game: You and the dealer are each dealt two cards. The dealer’s second card is hidden until your turn is over.
  • Options: On your turn, you can choose to:
    • Hit: Draw another card to try to increase your score.
    • Stand: End your turn and let the dealer play their hand.
  • Dealer’s Rules: The dealer must “hit” until their score is 17 or higher. If the dealer goes over 21, they bust, and you win!
  • Winning the Game: You win if:
    • Your score is higher than the dealer’s, and neither of you busts.
    • The dealer busts (goes over 21).

Good luck, and may the best player win!
