Slam Dunks & Slap Shots: NBA and NHL’s Wild Rides on the Streaks Coaster

As we head into tonight’s NHL Hockey and NBA Basketball games, teams must hit their stride and build momentum for the upcoming playoffs. Some teams are heating up, while others feel the chill of a cold streak.

The Arizona Coyotes are on fire in the NHL, winning their last five games against the spread. Meanwhile, the Vancouver Canucks have won four straight games outright, showing their ability to play hard for their new head coach!

Conversely, the Montreal Canadiens have lost seven consecutive games outright, jeopardizing their playoff hopes with an exclamation mark. The Carolina Hurricanes have also struggled recently, losing four straight against the spread, which includes a 3-0 shutout loss to New Jersey in their last game.

Meanwhile, Vegas Golden Knights have won four straight games against the spread (ATS), showing their dominance on the ice by going 6-1 SU L7G. In contrast, the Dallas Stars have won their last three games straight up, and their last eight games have gone OVER the posted total.

The Chicago Blackhawks have won their last four games against the spread but are tough tonight against the best team in the NHL, the Boston Bruins. Meanwhile, the Florida Panthers have lost three straight against the puck line, a concerning trend for a team with playoff aspirations.

NBA SLAM DUNK TRENDS

Over in the NBA, the Brooklyn Nets have won six straight games against the spread after cleaning house at the trade deadline, showcasing their offensive firepower. The Utah Jazz have also won four straight games against the spread, demonstrating their ability to dominate their opponents in their last four contests.

On the other hand, the Denver Nuggets have lost four straight games against the spread, leaving fans and analysts wondering what’s gone wrong, and they have the Raptors on deck tonight! The Los Angeles Clippers have won three in a row and held 6th place in the Western Conference.

As for the Philadelphia 76ers, they’ve won five straight games outright, looking to build some momentum for a deep playoff run. The Toronto Raptors have lost three straight games off their western road swing, struggling to find their identity as the season winds down.

The Phoenix Suns have seen the total go over the total in their last five games, proving they can put up points quickly. The Orlando Magic have also gone over the total in their last four games, looking to end their season on a high note.

Ultimately, the NHL and NBA playoff races are heating up, with teams fighting tooth and nail to secure their spot in the postseason. Teams must be firing on all cylinders as the games get more intense if they hope to hoist the championship trophy.
