The Good, the Bad & the Ugly — NHL SU, ATS, and O/U Rundown (Nov. 12 2025)

If you’ve been following the Raymond Report, you know every team tells three stories — Straight Up (SU), Against the Spread (ATS), and Over/Under (Totals). Let’s break down who’s cashing tickets, who’s costing bankrolls, and who’s just confusing the oddsmakers halfway through November.

🟩 The Good — Consistency and Cash Flow

Anaheim Ducks (11-4 SU, 10-5 ATS, 9-6 O/U)
The Ducks have been flying high with real value. Bettors backing Anaheim on the puck line are sitting on a 10-5 record, and they’ve been one of the few A-type teams still undervalued. Road or home, they’ve covered six of nine away — a Raymond Report “C.O.W.” dream team.

Carolina Hurricanes (11-4 SU, 8-7 ATS)
Carolina’s quietly dominant again. They’re winning, and the totals tell a story — nine of fifteen games to the Over, including a perfect 6-0 Over at home. When the Canes play in Raleigh, the scoreboard lights up like a Christmas tree.

Boston Bruins (10-7 SU, 13-4 ATS)
The B’s might not be blowing out opponents, but they’re printing ATS profits. Bettors who’ve blindly taken Boston on the puck line have hit 13 of 17 tickets — the best mark in the NHL. Chalk or dog, this team finds a way to stay inside the number.

Montreal Canadiens (10-5 SU, 10-5 O/U)
Here’s a sneaky “Over” team. Montreal’s averaging north of three goals per night and has gone 10-5 to the Over overall. The totals market hasn’t caught up — value remains for bettors expecting fireworks.

🟨 The Bad — Middle-of-the-Pack Mayhem

New York Rangers (8-9 SU, 9-8 ATS)
The Rangers are confusing bettors — hot on the road (7-2 SU) but nearly unwatchable at home (1-7). Until they find balance, they’re a classic “Jekyll-and-Hyde” squad that kills parlays.

Detroit Red Wings (9-7 SU, 9-7 ATS, 6-9-1 O/U)
Detroit’s numbers are as streaky as their power play. They cover, but totals bettors have been burned by seven Unders in sixteen games. “Neutral” territory in Raymond Report terms — not enough edge to lean either way.

Toronto Maple Leafs (8-8 SU, 5-11 ATS, 14-2 O/U)
Toronto is a walking contradiction. They’re the #1 Over team in hockey (14-2 O/U!) but brutal ATS. The Leafs’ games are track meets, but betting them to cover is like lighting money on fire.

Philadelphia Flyers (8-7 SU, 9-6 ATS)
Philly’s steady but not spectacular — a respectable ATS team with decent home value. They win close and lose ugly, but they’re outperforming expectations against stronger clubs.

🟥 The Ugly — Burn the Tape and Check the Damage

Calgary Flames (4-13 SU, 8-9 ATS)
Everything’s on fire except their offense. They’re a C-type team in every Raymond Report metric. Losing eight of ten and giving up goals in bunches, Calgary bettors deserve hazard pay.

Nashville Predators (5-13 SU, 9-9 ATS)
Average ATS doesn’t mask a terrible 5-13 record. Preds backers are learning the hard way that even a .500 spread record doesn’t fix a team that can’t score on the road (1-6 SU away).

Edmonton Oilers (7-10 SU, 4-13 ATS)
The shocker of the season. With all that firepower, Edmonton has been a disaster at the window — 4-13 ATS overall. Bettors have officially moved from disbelief to grief.

Buffalo Sabres (5-10 SU, 6-9 ATS)
Buffalo’s offense is missing, defense optional. 0-5 SU on the road and a brutal 1-4 ATS split away from home. The Sabres are firmly in “Ugly” territory — fade material until further notice.

📊 Totals Tells

If you’ve been riding Overs, the Toronto Maple Leafs (14-2) and Vancouver Canucks (12-5) have been money. On the flip side, Colorado (7-9 O/U) and Vegas (7-7-1) are slowing things down with defensive hockey and strong goaltending.

🏁 Final Line Change

As of November 12, 2025, the NHL betting board has split personalities — elite teams covering, big names failing, and totals markets begging for correction. Stick to team cycles, value indexes, and C.O.W. percentages, and you’ll skate circles around public bettors chasing brand names.
